For an overall better integration of the frame with the drive unit, the suspension system develops a main tie rod pivot integrated with one of the engine mounts.
The engine unit becomes a structural element of the rear suspension, not only creating more space for the swingarm but also a lighter and significantly stiffer frame. This allows for better positioning of the instantaneous center of rotation (IC), calibrating the suspension's behavior, also taking into account the additional thrust of the engine. The starting point of the anti-squat curve guarantees excellent pedaling response. The other pivot points are equipped with 15mm axles and Enduro bearings.
The system features a progressive compression curve with a range of 2.9 to 2.3, allowing for perfect fitment of both air and coil spring shocks. The anti-rise curve remains below 100% from the sag position to full travel, for a neutral effect on braking forces. The rear shock is mounted parallel directly under the top tube, supporting both the frame's compactness and standover ratio, while also creating space for a water bottle cage.
